The distance from Chorio and the port of Kimolos is 3.5 km. Approximately while for your transportation, you can use the bus of the island (stop at 100m.).
From Piraeus: Kimolos has a ferry connection to Athens throughout the year, through the main port of the country, Piraeus. The frequency of the itineraries is almost daily and the duration of the trip ranges from 5 to 7 hours depending on the company you choose for your trip.
From Lavrio: Beyond Piraeus, however, there is an equally convenient alternative to reach the island of Cyclades. During the summer months, routes from Lavrio to Kimolos are added. The frequency from the port of Lavrio is weekly and the trip lasts about 13 hours as there is a connection with other islands besides Kimolos.
You can reach Kimolos from the island of Milos, the closest island to Kimolos, by taking the small ferry that departs from the port of Pollonia (Milos) and reaches the port of Kimolos, Psathi, after a 20-minute trip.
